Participative concerts began in 1995 with The Messiah by G. F. Handel.

Achievements in 2019

A new school and family show was set up in 2019: Papageno & Cía. It's a tour through Mozart's operas with the help of musicians and also the audience. The star is Papageno, one of the most endearing characters in the world of opera.

Performing classical music in places of urban heritage - in other words, the streets - in Portugal's historical cities. This has been the aim of the unprecedented initiative by the Orquestra no Património, promoted by the Casa da Música (Oporto) with the support of ”la Caixa” Foundation.
